Our Fab Friday Boudoir Session Feature this week is the gorgeous Miss P. Miss P came to me, like so many others, needing a pick me up after going through a rough time. The day we had was one of the best in our studio!

What made you decide to be a part of the Body Love Project?
I'm forty one, divorced, a single mom, with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy that has caused me to have to walk with a walker all my life. I've always been a fighter, I had to be. Roughly three years ago, my world fell apart and everything I thought I knew about myself and the world around me shattered. My self confidence crumbled. Even my friends didn't recognize who I'd become. I was tired of fighting. The last three years have been filled with heartache and loss but also joy and laughter. It's been a long time coming but I see myself again, self confident. I booked the session for me as something to look forward to and strive for. What I didn't expect where the images Lisa caught on camera.
Before you made the decision to book with Lisa Gallant Photography Boudoir, did you have any hesitations? If so, what were they?
Mainly my body image and financial ability
What were you most nervous about before your session?
The fact that I was actually doing this shoot. As much as I wanted to the shoot, it was a little nerve racking that I would be in front of a camera wearing lingerie and at times knowing I would be partially nude.
What were you most looking forward to prior to your session?
Shopping for my own lingerie and having my hair and makeup done
How did you feel about yourself before your session?
I was accepting of myself as who I am as a person but I didn't like the body image I saw staring back at me in the mirror.
How did you feel about yourself after your session?
Sexy, confident, and strong.
Where you nervous before viewing your images?
No, I was excited to see what Lisa captured in her images!
How did you feel about yourself after seeing your images?
Seeing my images, made me feel sexy, confident, and strong. I even had a moment where I was like are these really my images!
What would you tell anyone interested in, but maybe hesitant, booking a session of their own?
Whatever your reason, don't hold back on booking a session. Love yourself right where you are at, its the best gift you can give yourself.
How was working with Lisa and the makeup artists?
It was a wonderful experience. Lisa and the makeup artist were personable and made the whole experience fun!
Will you be doing another session?
Absolutely!
