Miss S came to us pretty shy. She was searching for the confidence that others had and struggled to see the beauty in herself, that those around her praised. Let's just say, she killed it!
How old were you are your session? 30
What made you decide to book a session? To build back some confidence after having another baby. People assume that because I'm "small" that I should have all the confidence in the world, and that's definitely not the case.
What were you most nervous about for your session? Showing off my body, and being awkward.
What were you most looking forward to prior to your session? Getting all dolled up!
How did you feel about yourself before your session? I lacked confidence despite being told "you're so pretty" most my life. To me, they are just words, I never saw what other people apparently did. I know some will see me, and probably roll their eyes, and say "it's just for attention" and that's where my anxiety kicks in, and I just don't want to be noticed.
Describe your experience. It was an amazing experience. I was so nervous I was shaking, by the time she went to take the pictures Lisa had made me feel so relaxed and excited! She knows how to make you feel like the most confident woman ever!
How did you feel about yourself after your session? Like I could walk the Victoria secret runway 🤣 no joke! The confidence she gives you just by her energy, and the way she is with you, will definitely make you feel like a completely different person! (In the best way)
Were you nervous before viewing your images? Extremely! I hate people taking pictures of me I tend to look high or awkward. Lol
How did you feel about yourself after seeing your images? I'm one hot bitch 🤣🤣🤣 but for real, I was shocked. I kept saying "that's me!?!" It was surreal seeing myself that way.
What were your favorite products? How can you choose one thing!?! Lol
What would you tell anyone interested in, but maybe hesitant, booking a session of their own? Just freaking do it, its soooooo beyond worth it! It will take your confidence level to a place you didn't even expect!
How as working with Lisa and the makeup artists? They were both so laid back, and easy going! Monti did her thing with my hair and makeup I was in awe! And Lisa just is so naturally fun, and bubbly that you cant help, but feed off her energy.
Will you be doing another session? Maybe in the future!
Anything else you'd like to add? I'm so happy I did this photo shoot with Lisa, she is an undoubtedly a great photographer, and makes you feel like your just taking pictures with a friend you've known for forever! If you've ever even thought about doing one, just take the leap, and do it! You will not regret it, and you love the atmosphere it's just all around an amazing experience that I will forever remember ❤
And there you have it, visual proof that mermaids do exist! LOL! But seriously, Miss S was a dream! Not only is she physically drop dead gorgeous, but her spirit is GOLD! We really hope that she will make the trek to our new studio in Summerville, SC for another session at some point.
