Miss J was one of our final clients photographed in our studio in Texas. Like many clients, she had reached out a few times before for information about availability and such, but we had never quite been able to make our schedules. Once she heard we were closing that location permanently to move the business to Summerville, SC, well we made it happen. I, for one, am so glad we did. How old were you are your session? 31
What made you decide to book a session? I have always been interested in a boudoir shoot but kept putting it off due to I couldn’t justify spending the money on myself. When Lisa offered the donation sessions during covid I was like yes I can help someone else and do something for myself and with Lisa moving soon I didn’t want to miss the chance to do a session with her.
What was originally holding you back from booking a session? Mainly finances
What were you most nervous about for your session? I was most nervous about looking “sexy.” I feel pretty. I just never felt like I am a sexy or seductive person. I wasn’t sure how my facial expressions would look in photos.
What were you most looking forward to prior to your session? I have never been to prom, nor did I have a wedding and I typically don’t wear a lot of makeup and I do very little to my hair so I was excited to know what I would look like all dolled up by someone who knew what they were doing.
How did you feel about yourself before your session? I felt content with who I was, I just didn’t see myself as a sexy person.
Describe your experience. From start to finish, my experience was amazing. Even though I was nervous about how Lisa would make me look sexy and not awkward. I felt like I was just having fun with friends. Lisa made me feel amazing the whole time she was taking photos. I don’t think I have felt that great about myself and laughed so much in a while. It was just all around a great day! And I hope to be able to do it again.
How did you feel about yourself after your session? I am still on cloud nine. I feel incredible.

What were your favorite products? All of them but, I’m most excited about my album
What would you tell anyone interested in, but maybe hesitant, booking a session of their own? Just do it you won’t regret it. I feel everyone should have this experience at least once in their life.
How as working with Lisa and the makeup artists? It was perfect. I couldn’t ask for better people.
Will you be doing another session? I sure hope so!
