Our Fab Friday Boudoir Session Feature this week is beautiful Miss C. Like so many of our clients, Miss C wanted to reclaim her sexy after recently having another baby. when we sat down for her pre-session consult the one thing she said she wanted was "different". Miss C is a free spirit with her own style. Personally, I think we killed it on this one.
Before you made the decision to book with Lisa Gallant Photography Boudoir, did you have any hesitations? If so, what were they?
The main hesitation I had was my weight. Could I actually look good in front of a camera? Will I be judged harshly? It was anything, but that!!! She made me feel like a queen. No matter what size I am, I can be SEXY!!!
What was the reason behind your boudoir session? Was it a gift …a celebration...for yourself or someone else?
I wanted to do something for me for a change. Having 3 kids and being married for 11 years, I never put myself first. I actually made this decision with the help of my BFF. Between Lisa and my bestie, they both boosted my confidence 100 fold!
How did your experience differ from what you were expecting before your shoot with Lisa Gallant Photography?
I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I figured I’d show up and she would just start telling me how to dress, where and how to pose. I went in there, she sat me in front of a mirror, I had my makeup and hair done! She let me pick whatever I wanted to wear! She then made me pose. Lol it was a blast! She made me feel super comfortable and confident in my own skin.
How did your Boudoir Session impact you?
I felt super empowered and sexy! I have NEVER felt like that before this session.
We love to think of our boudoir session as an experience, what was your favorite part?
Omg... I have to pick a favorite?! Probably the “Flash dance” scene! It was tricky, but super fun to recreate!
If you could give advice to a woman that was contemplating booking a boudoir session with Lisa Gallant Photography, what would you tell them?
Just go in there with your head held high! This is for you! This is your empowerment! Embrace your inner boudie babe! We all have one inside us. It’s time to shine!
